The speed of a NAS server can vary depending on several factors such as the hardware specifications, network connection, and the number of users accessing the server. If the NAS server is slow, it could be due to a bottleneck in the network, insufficient processing power, or a high workload. It's important to troubleshoot and identify the specific cause of the slowness in order to address it effectively. Upgrading hardware, optimizing network settings, or reducing the workload on the server can help improve its speed. **

On the other hand, OwnCloud-NAS is a self-hosted solution that gives you complete control over your data and privacy. It allows you to set up your own private cloud storage and access it from anywhere. If you prioritize privacy and control, OwnCloud-NAS may be the better option for you.
