Non mi riferisco solo al disegno , alla manifattura o all’idea che da esso ne deriva , ma un vero e proprio progetto
di crescita diverso , di rendere un territori cosi all’apparenza arido , con dei frutti che si sono adattati
nel tempo al sole che secca la terra.
Un progetto che puo’ dar vita ad un modo diverso , un modo di portare la territorialita’ , la cultura e le bellezza di un isola come la Sicilia in tutto il mondo .
Ecco come Siku project , ha deciso di rivoluzionare il modo di fare gioielli.
Come nasce un gioiello
Questi gioielli nascono dall’essiccazione della pianta simbolo siciliana per eccellenza , il fico d’india .
Le pale vengono raccolte , essiccate al sole poi da esse si ricava una fibra dalla quale si creano gioielli di ogni tipo.
Quelli femminili per antonomasia come collane ed anelli, ma anche quelli maschili piu’ classici
come i gemelli.
insomma da una pianta che per tempo si è adattata al caldo rovente di questa terra che produce frutti gustosissimi , ora le loro pale danno vita a materiale perfetto per la creazione di oggetti d’artigianato , che vengono apprezzati
in tutto il mondo.
I colori ricordano le acque pulite e limpide del mediterraneo , i rossi risplendono come la terra che viene ” cotta dal sole”.
Il verde ricorda la vegetazione , l’odore del mare , l’odore delle piantagioni , in cui io da bambina giocavo di corsa evitando di pungermi , ma che ancora oggi il solo ricordo mi dona serenita’ e spensieratezza.
